It was a reply to a posting by a "richard ristaneo" entitled "mod carb?" or something like that....
I'm thinking about it, too, but I'll probably wait until the warranty is out. I did drill two holes in the back baffle of the muffler and that has seemed to cause less (albeit sharper) backfire. It also dramatically improves the sound, and I think I'm getting a little more top end. (increased airflow? I guess?)
Then again, it's just getting to 900 miles, so it might just be breaking in.
Does anyone know if this procedure will void the warranty? I'll bet it does.....
